FRC staff collaborate with several local and countywide agencies, shelters and programs to work on solutions to homelessness and the temporary housing needs for the residents of the Talawanda School District.

The FRC in partnership with the City of Oxford operated a winter shelter program from November 2020 through March 2021 and then again November 2021 through February 2022. The operation served over capacity for both years. Clients were provided shelter in a local motel and case management to assist them securing safe, permanent housing and other specific resources to their life situation. We currently serve clients who need immediate shelter on a case by case basis while continuing to connect them to resources to permanent housing.
